Things you need to know.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Pregnant
Breastfeeding
Skin peeling / sunburn
Heart conditions / Blood thinning medication / defibrillators
Oily skin for feather touch brows
No cosmetic injections 3 weeks before or after
Moles in the brows or on the lips
Acne medications such as roaccutane. (You must wait 1 year)
PREPARATION FOR THE APPOINTMENT
Do not sunbathe or fake tan the week before your appointment
No laser or peels 3 weeks prior
Don’t exercise the day of the appointment
Do NOT take aspirin, fish oil, Niacin B3, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen unless medically required 72hrs prior
No caffeine the day of the appointment.
Highly active skincare needs to be reduced 72hrs prior so you don’t bleed excessively
No waxing or tinting 48-72hrs prior
AFTERCARE
For the first 4 hours after your treatment, you will clean your brows with the water wipes provided
Do not pick or touch the brows during the healing process. Ink can be prematurely be pulled out of the skin and this will lead to poor retention (and a high fee to have them touched up)
Avoid heavy sweating for 10 days after
No AHA’s or Retinols until all of the scabbing has healed. This may take up to 14 days
No direct sun or swimming for 4 weeks
Use the provided face shields & aftercare lotion as directed.
